Resolutions vs. Heartfelt Intentions

New Year’s resolutions are usually external stuff we want to change – lose weight, exercise more, make more money, be or do better. They are full of regret for what we have done or not done previously – full of self-judgement. Today rather than New Year’s Resolutions (that we never seem to be able to keep), what if we tried a different approach? What if I asked myself – and wrote down – what are my Heart’s Desires? I’m a great list maker. It helps me stay focused and organized. But this is a different kind of list – from our Soul. What if I then searched my soul for my next simple action to take today, in the direction of those Desires?

First, ask for what you want by stating “My Heartfelt Intention is….” That is a very Powerful Statement. Then Trusting your Highest Self, take an Action Step toward that Divine Desire. I make a list of Spiritual Action Steps for myself – to remind me of possibilities. Making Space and Time to spend on your Dream activities will make you feel like you are doing something so positive that it will light up your Joy. And, if you don’t know what action steps to take, take any action for your Highest Good.

When we voice our Dreams, our mind automatically kicks in with all the reasons and excuses of why it’s not possible and can’t work including external forces being against us. External and worldly conditions are irrelevant where our Heart’s Intentions are concerned because they happen outside of space and time usually while we are not paying attention. What the Heart Desires will be Full Filled, if we can Allow and Receive it.

So maybe you might need to add to your Spiritual Action steps, to work on letting go of your limitation thoughts through writing, meditation and prayer. I, myself, have that on my Action steps! Unblocking our negative thinking opens us up to Creative Solutions. The Courage to take any action also begins to break up our limitation thinking…and we start to Manifest what we truly want.

If your Heartfelt Intention involves another person, well darn it, we can’t change or control anybody else. But that doesn’t mean you should censor your Dream. State your Heartfelt Intention as it is, then turn your attention to what you are drawn to do, think or be. Be willing to let go of your picture of the results. We often have a vision of how we think things are meant to happen – and when they don’t show up exactly to our specifications, we think it’s not working. Miracles show up all the time. They just sometimes look different than our expectations, but they are still miracles.

Centered Action:
Are you willing to ask yourself, what are the Dreams of my Heart? And write them down to make them real? And take the next Right Actions that are revealed? Source Loves you…and wants you to have your Deepest Heart’s Desires. They are Divinely Inspired.

To our Health and Well Being!!
