Worrying is a destructive, non-productive activity.  This is a self-guided meditation to turn over the people and things that are bothering you so that you can find peace today.  This works whatever your concept of God, or if you do not believe in God.  It is the process of turning over our problems for a period of time that allows the Universe to handle them and allows Intuition to come through us for solutions.

Sit comfortably with your hands in your lap or at your side.  Take a deep breath through your nose and breathe out with a sigh through your mouth.  And again, take a deep breath through your nose and breathe out with a sigh through your mouth.

In your mind, imagine a very large God Can.  It is very large, sturdy and expandable.  It is big enough to handle anything that you put in, and nothing is able to escape.

Visualize putting your problems, one at a time, into the God Can.  Anything that is causing you upset for any reason needs to go into the God Can.  Place your significant other, your children, your parents, other members of family, friends, your work papers, your boss, your co-workers, your finances – bills and credit cards, your health issues or those of another, any chaos or drama in your life.  Remember this God Can expands as you fit more and more into it.

When you can think of nothing else to put in the God Can, visualize the top of the can magically closing tightly over the top so nothing can escape.  Then visualize a golden white healing light coming down all around the box.  Everyone and everything inside is now taken care of and is being healed.

Thank this Healing Light for taking care of all your issues today.  Slowly feel yourself coming back into your body and open your eyes. 

You do not need to worry or think about anything in the God Can for today.  If you notice yourself worrying, remind yourself that they are handled.  When your mind is relieved of worry, your Intuition opens and new solutions that you were not able to see, begin to flow into your thinking.  Remember that this process takes practice and trust, but it works.

God Can!
